Collection and Delivery Service

Other Services

Preparing to go away on holiday is a very time-consuming task - so much to remember. Our collection and delivery service is available to give you more time to finish your packing and it can also reduce your dog's stress by not rushing them to the kennels - they will pick up on your stress and it could take them longer to settle. Also available for our day care and dog walking customers on a 1st come 1st served basis, please call us to discuss your requirements. Our charges start from £5 and are shown on our pricing page. We collect and drop around Cirencester, Northleach, Fairford, Down Ampney and the many villages close by.

Puppy Socialisation Classes

Other Services

Studies identify that puppies between the ages of 6 to 16 weeks are at their most "open" minded state and the first three to four months of a puppy's life are the most critical period for socialisation. This means the most beneficial time to attend socialisation classes is as soon as your puppy is fully vaccinated.
Well socialised puppies are less fearful and become better behaved as adult dogs.
Sessions include some basic training and lots of advice to help get your new family member as well behaved as early as possible.

6 sessions are £75

Dates of next classes to be advised but you can register your interest by emailing us at office@spatchcockkennels.co.uk

Agility Sessions

Other Services

A fun extra to add onto a boarding or kennelled day care stay, or you can even hire out the paddock and have a fun play with your dog/s yourself. We have jumps, tunnels, ramp and weave poles and is a perfect way to introduce your dog to the fun of agility.

Agility is a great way to get rid of your dog's excess energy. Running through a course that involves passing over and through a variety of obstacles will challenge your dog's mind and body and will help to strengthen muscles, improve coordination, and increase endurance.

£10 per 20 minute session whilst boarding

Hire of paddock for agility and off lead play - £10 for 45 minutes

Paddock Hire

Our fully fenced one acre paddock can be hired out at selected times when not in use by our boarding or day care dogs.

Perfect for off-lead play or training.

Ideal for dogs that don't have good recall but need a safe environment to run and let off steam.

There is also a small agility paddock so you can add in some agility fun at the same time.

£5 per half hour
£10 per 45 minutes with agility play
Prices for up to 3 dogs, additional £2 per dog thereafter

Please phone or email to find out available times.

About Reiki

Reiki has been used and acknowledged to support human healing and stress relief for many years now and our dogs can benefit from this wonderful technique in just the same way. Reiki is used in many dog rehoming centres worldwide to assist with fearful and mistreated dogs and has been very successful in helping previously difficult dogs get adopted into new homes.

In the energetic space of a Reiki session, the body has the opportunity to naturally rebalance, and common healing effects are signs of peace, well-being and relaxation which leads to physical, emotional and/or spiritual improvement and healing.

Reiki can:

  • Maintain health and well-being on the physical, mental and emotional levels
  • Induce deep relaxation and stress-relief
  • Accelerate healing in sick or injured animals, or animals recovering from surgery
  • Help reduce pain and inflammation
  • Help reduce behaviour problems and aggression
  • Help abused animals heal from previous mental or physical trauma
  • Complement conventional and alternative therapies
  • Lessen the side effects of other medical treatments
  • Support the dying process

Why is Reiki an ideal holistic therapy for dogs?

  • It is gentle, non-invasive, painless and stress-free.
  • It goes to the issues that need it most, even when unknown to the practitioner
  • It can do no harm to either recipient or practitioner
